You might not believe it to be possible for a pawrent to lie to the daycare centre they leave their pupper in about their return. But as you will come to find in this story it is entirely possible and plausible as this pawrent not only leaves their dog behind, but also their whole life as they skip town.

People are complex, there is no denying that, but our complexities as people should have little to no baring over the simple lives of the doggos who we take under our care. They did not necessarily choose to be cared for by us, but when we took them home we chose to care for them. To make sure that they would spend the rest of their days safe, happy and healthy. Which is what makes these purposeful pupper abandonment stories so tough to stomach. Because not only is the doggo being thrust into a hurtful and confusing situation for them, but their hooman is also breaking the only promise that has ever been made to them.

Luckily they are incredibly forgiving creatures and are willing to give second chances, especially when the people who step up to save them show them such kindness and sincerity. So in this story we do not dwell on the sadness, but try to celebrate the success of one canine carer in rehoming a doggo who had nowhere to go.

Jheez, the things that people go through in life can make them do some seriously questionable things. Who would have ever dared to think that such a seemingly innocent vacation drop off would turn into this pawrent completely vanishing without a trace? Not to mention the poor pupper who likely knew in some way that their pawrent had left them for good but had no way to convey that information, nor how sad it must have made them. It really upsets us when these hoomans abandon their doggos without sparing a second thought as to how they might cope with being left behind like that.

Honestly, if ever you need your faith restored in hoomanity, all you need to do is read one of these kinds of doggo abandonment stories to learn about the life of someone who owed the dog nothing and yet gave up everything that they could in order to help a pupper in need. Making sure that they had everything that they needed to feel safe, healthy and secure in this wild world.
